Aims: This is a practical course on the use of tools and techniques of ITEP to engage and support substance users to remain safe and address their substance use issues and life issues effectively

Objectives: Using case studies, discussions and input the participants will explore the use of mapping tools in their direct work practice to:

                     to engage clients

                     Support the clients work through “how to stay safe”

                     Enable clients work on how to address their drug linked behaviour

                     support the clients address their life issues and develop resources to remain drug free

                     Support the clients manage their lapses and relapses
